Air Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 - Varsity Royal + Varsity Red - New PhotosThere’s an old cartoon gag where the screen zooms out to a shot of the entire planet but you can still hear screaming; imagine that sound as a gasp and that’s what you might expect upon first hearing about an Air Jordan XI hybrid.  Then again, if you have that kind of perspective, you might notice that the AJXI and Air Max 1 are something of a natural match, if not the most obvious pairing.  The Air Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 brings classic AJ styling to an even classic-er AM1 sole and puts twists on both to fine tune the blend.  The first two colorways are based on the OG Air Max 1 from 1987, with one pair going white/red and the other in white/royal.  An off the wall idea to be sure, the CMFT Viz Air 11 is surprisingly excellent and will be available soon at select JB retailers including Extra Butter. Air Jordan VII - Unreleased Tan/Purple SampleThere’s another Air Jordan VII colorway to add to the massive amounts of unreleased Jordans floating around out there. That would be the one pictured above, a tan/purple combination that almost gives off an early ACG vibe. The lighting seems to be obscuring the colors just a bit here, as the user who threw up the photo calls them “PB&J”, suggesting that there’s a very tan tone being paired with the purple up above. The sample is one of those “friend of a friend” type things, with the original owner apparently being a long time Nike employee who currently serves as the VP for Nike Football in Amsterdam. Celebrity Feet: Dip Set – Reunion Show @ Hammerstein BallroomThe Dip Set made a triumphant return to the stage this past Thanksgiving weekend, in front of thousands of hometown fans, Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, and Freakey Zekey reunited for a historic performance at the Hammerstein Ballrom in New York City. While the concert was covered by numerous affiliates of our Complex Media Network we were more interested in what Dip Set was rocking on their feet. While we still can’t quite pinpoint what Killa Cam was wearing Jim Jones did have on a pair of the Air Max 24-7′s in the Original Air Max 95 “Neon” colorway on while Juelz Santana decided to go for a clean pair of “Uptown’s” otherwise known as White on White Air Force 1′s. NBA Feet: Kobe Bryant - Nike Zoom Kobe VII 'Poison Dart Frog' LakersThe drama involving Derek Fisher and both the Lakers and Rockets organizations came to a boiling point when Fisher turned his back cold hard cash and made the decision to play elsewhere. While Fisher wasn’t in the building when the Lakers came for a visit, the competitive intensity was high as the Lakers and Rockets battled it down to the last minute. For this game, Kobe Bryant debuted the Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Poison Dart Frog’ in the ‘Lakers’ colorway; the wild detail on the upper resembling the poison dart frog is present on three upcoming Kobe VII releases (with the ‘Lakers’ version seen here becoming available in May), and clearly Kobe couldn’t resist rocking them early for the game, which could be a potential Playoff match-up. Air Jordan 1 Retro 'Banned' - New PhotosHere’s another viewing of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ in the Black/Varsity Red colorway. The upper features a distressed leather material, which gives the shoe a decades-old vintage feel, alluding to the infamous banning of Michael’s signature sneaker by the NBA. A hefty fine was placed on Michael’s shoulders for each game her wore the shoes, but Nike took care of that burden and urged Michael to continue wearing the shoes. The ‘Banned’ version here features the red ‘X’ painted over the heel logo as well as a special insole, lace-tips, and miniature ‘X’ graphics on the inner lining. This sample you see here is a ‘B-Grade’ version (a Nike product with a minor factory defect) and was recently sold online. Justin Timberlake "Legends of the Summer" Air Jordan 1 MidHip-hop and pop-music superstars Jay Z and Justin Timberlake are currently amidst the epic Legends of the Summer tour around the world, with a stop in Yankee Stadium being the most recent showing of this summer-time must-see music fare. On the 17th, JT and JZ were in Toronto, and it was there that Justin rocked these Air Jordan 1 Mid PEs in an all-red upper, which matches the red motif of the stage set. Not much else is known about these Air Jordan 1s, but it looks like he autographed them and gave them away to two lucky fans! The Real 'Air Jordan' - Michael's Private JetAll of the aerial feats Michael Jordan has managed to pull off on the court have been well documented, but have you ever had a look at his private jet? Here are some spy-shots of Michael’s private jet, colored up in a Tar Heels-inspired white and Carolina blue. The aircraft is noted with a N236MJ – 23 for his jersey number, 6 for his championships – and a Jumpman logo on the rear fin. What goes on inside Jordan’s private jet at 30,000 feet is anyone’s guess, but what we do know from a look at the outside is that Jordan travels in mid-air with style, both on and off the court. Celebrity Feet: Drake & J. Cole – Le Zenith Concert in ParisDrake and J. Cole performed at Le Zenith in Paris, France last night as a part of the ongoing Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour. On the last documented stop of the tour, Drake brought out a pair of the ‘Orion Blue’ VII’s, which are set to be released at the end of March, but in Paris, Drake decided to switch it up and wear a pair of the ‘Bordeaux’ Air Jordan VII’s – the storied colorway that MJ wore during the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. J. Cole might have “one upped” Drizzy by going back into his sneaker closet as he wore the Air Jordan VI’s from the 2006 Defining Moments Pack. Who rocked more heat? Celebrity Feet: Drake - Air Jordan III - White - CementDrake, a Young Money representative, has the Internet abuzz with his latest song “Marvin’s Room”, and the singer/rapper was recently spotted at the Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport where he scheduled to head back to the States after a wild weekend in the Canadian city. While waiting to catch his flight, Drake wore the Air Jordan III White/Cement along with the YMCMB hooded sweatshirt and sweats combo for an easy check-in.
